I’m indeed happy that the Germans feel furious when the topic of the Fuehrer comes up. However, many conservative Germans are known to have a soft corner for the Nazi regime. Well, that is irrelevant here, sorry brought it up.

Since it is a work of art, it should be treated as art. And art can shock, disgust, anger people. Art has to arouse some emotion in us (negative or positive) and the sculpture did!

Exactly, art is art and should not be categorized into good or evil.

On a different note, I think Amy Winehouse is more evil than Hitler; but surprisingly, no one decides to behead her statue!
